Achievement Centers for Children is a non-profit agency that families call a source of hope, a place of achievement and a center of support and expertise for children with special needs. Achievements Centers helps children with a wide range of disabilities lead productive lives through customized therapies, education and childcare programs, camping and recreation opportunities, nationally-recognized autism programs and family support services.

Alliance Human Services/Ohio Mentor
Alliance Human Services in association with Ohio Mentor provides training to those interested in becoming foster parents; makes placements to current foster homes; and provides supportive services to the children/youth in these therapeutic foster homes.

The Bair Foundation
The Bair Foundation, a private not-for-profit foster care agency, has a strong history of providing services to children with therapeutic needs. The Bair Foundation is accredited by The Council on Accreditation for children and family services underscoring the importance we place on delivering the highest quality services to our community.

Christian Children’s Home of Ohio
With the mission of bringing healing to hurting children and families in His name, the Christian Children’s Home of Ohio (CCHO) seeks to help as many as possible that have been caught in the cycle of abuse and neglect by providing a safe, structured environment to meet the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of each child. Providing the support to allow children to work on issues and problems while living in a loving and functional family system, CCHO strives to help the child develop coping skills for life experiences and break the cycle of abuse.

Continue Life, Inc.

Continue Life Inc is the primary shelter and transitional housing program for homeless pregnant and parenting teens and women in Cleveland. Licensed by ODJFS to provide independent living arrangements. Services include case management, on site life skills classes, childbirth, parenting and domestic violence classes. Referrals for drug/alcohol treatment and mental health services provided where indicated. Length of stay up to 2 years. Must be willing to cooperate with staff to work to obtain employment and find housing. We are giving mothers a choice and a chance for babies!

Diversion Foster Care
Diversion is a statewide therapeutic foster care programming serving children ages 0-18 years of age.

House of New Hope
House of New Hope is a statewide provider of treatment foster care, respite care, adoption and behavioral healthcare services with a commitment to research-based treatment, cultural sensitivity, and cost effectiveness.

In Focus of Cleveland
“In Focus” provides residential group care and therapeutic programming to at-risk youth as a community-based initiative designed to help turn challenges into successes. Targeting males ages 13-21, the state-licensed homes are designed to be a safe haven for those removed from their homes as a result of abuse or neglect, or in severe conflict with family or community.

Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry
Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry is a 40-year old, non-profit organization dedicated to serving and advocating with youth at-risk, adults involved in the criminal justice system, people with disabilities, people with long term care needs and people who are homeless. Support To At-Risk Teens (START) provides programming for youth through the Westhaven Youth Shelter, Youth Employment Program, After-School Prevention Resources and Youth Re-entry Program

The National Youth Advocate Program – Ohio
The National Youth Advocate Program is an energetic instrument of compassion and change in the lives of children, youth and families and the systems, structures and practices that affect them. Since 1978, we have provided innovative and family centered community based programming throughout Ohio.

Options for Families and Youth
Options for Families and Youth (OFY) is a private, non-profit social service agency providing foster care, adoption and Help Me Grow services to Cuyahoga County’s neediest children since 1989.

Pathway Caring for Children
Pathway Caring for Children is a private, non-profit social service agency. Positive Education Program
Positive Education Program (PEP) helps troubled and troubling children and youth successfully learn and grow through the Re-ED approach, blending quality education and mental health services in partnership with families, schools, and communities.

Pressley Ridge
Pressley Ridge has four major service lines of Treatment Foster Care, Residential, Community-based and Educational as well as programs serving the deaf community, dually diagnosed adolescents and the autistic population throughout seven states: Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and DC, Delaware, Virginia, Kentucky.

Specialized Alternatives for Families & Youth
Specialized Alternatives for Families & Youth is a national, non-profit, children and family services agency headquartered in Ohio. Founded in 1984 under the premise that every child is entitled to a stable and caring living environment, SAFY has grown to serve more than 2,500 children annually in eight states. Originally founded as a treatment foster care agency, today SAFY offers an array of services that empower families to work toward stability and healthy home environments.

The Twelve of Ohio
The year 2006 marked the 40th anniversary of The Twelve of Ohio. We continue to provide a full array of child welfare and mental health services to the children and families of Ohio, in the least intrusive manner and consistent with their needs.

The Village Network
The Village Network is a 60-year old, private, non-denomination, child-serving organization, (located in eight Ohio cities, including Cleveland), whose specialty is the treatment of children with severe emotional and behavioral difficulties; services provided include Residential, Treatment Foster Care, Sexual Offender Treatment, Mental Health Day Treatment and school-based programs.
